Mostly Mallards

We stopped by Wildwood to check out the action on the lake on a very overcast November 24th. There was a multitude of Mallards that seemed to be flying in and out of the area in great numbers.

The temperature was falling and by Sunday morning the Avon River was almost completely ice-covered. It didn’t seem to bother the Canada Geese but the lone gull looked a little out of place.
