Shore Birds

The last couple of weeks has brought hundreds of sandpipers, kildeer and plovers to the fields and lagoons around Stratford and St. Marys. We have also seen more Herons and Egrets as well, especially along the edges of the water at Wildwood as the water level decreases and there is a little more room along the edges for the birds to fish. At least that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it! Comorants are also making an appearance.
