Tail-end of March

The cold weather seems to be hanging on. Ice is melting on the rivers but many are still covered. However, in spite of the cold the vultures and crows, gulls and starlings are back in the area. As are red-wing blackbirds, starlings and robins which can be seen moving around in flocks.
