Along the Avon

As promised on Sunday morning the temperature was starting to climb into the double digits. It was nice to be taking photos without frozen fingers for a change! Just as we were heading down Snake Hill to the river a formation of Tundra Swans flew overhead. I’d say there were about 30 geese and at one point 3 Canada Geese seemed to try to join them but then fell back again. It was a wonderful start to the day! Unfortunately, no photo! Sometimes you just have to forget the camera and enjoy. However there were definitely more songbirds arriving back!
