Gone to Goderich

Another gorgeous November day, the 8th! So we headed off towards Goderich and Lake Huron. It’s amazing to live in a place where you have a choice of 3 Great Lakes to visit on any given day!

Lots of hawks along the road and even a small group of 10 Tundra Swans were spotted sitting in a roadside field!

And of course, pigeons, blackbirds and crows were abundant! As well as Canada Geese. They are so common around here that they barely get a mention. But they are fun to watch.

On the duck front, there were a few Long-tail Ducks, Bufflehead and Red-breasted Mergansers but not in great numbers. There was still time to take a quick look at the Perth Wetlands on the way home though. So we didn’t hang around!
