The snow didn’t last long and the last day of November was chilly but dry. We had time for one last trip out to the Perth Wetlands. It seemed strangely quiet although there were some Mallards and Canada Geese in the far ponds but not much else! It could have had something to do with the thin coating of ice on the water. We did see a few Sparrows, Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Chickadees and Brown Creepers in the bushes around the ponds and in the woods between the wetlands and the river. On to December!
